This Page begins with the Don and Marie Henry family as told by their Grandson, John Henry.

My Paternal Grand parents, Don and Marie Henry. Taken at their place about 11/2 miles south of the Clayton school on Swenson road. in 1942

My maternal Grandparents, Doc and Hattie Hairison. Taken from behind their house across from the Clayton Church. Late 1930s.

R. Gerry (Harrison) Henry, Leonord Turrell, Lois (Harrison) Turrell and C.I. Doc Harrison. Taken in the west side yard of the Harrison home. Notice the smoking stack at the Brick yard.

8th Grade 1937. Clayton School 8th grade graduation 1937. Gerry Harrison is 6th from left in 2nd row. I recognize the house in the left background. I believe it is the Pat LaPrey house.

Doc Harrison L. and Jimmy Wesley just returned from a successful hunting trip. The building in the background looks to be the building next to the Mercantile from the back.

Gerry (Harrison) Henry in the side yard of her parents house. Clayton Church in the background. 1937 or 38.

My Grandfather C.I.(Doc) Harrison displaying the fruits of one of his favorite pastimes. Fishing for the big Mackinaws in Loon Lake. Probably taken in the 1930s.

Leonard Link (L) Art Stelting (R) . in the early 40s ?

My Aunt and Uncle. Doris (Gibson) Henry and Pat Henry. Pat was the youngest son of Don and Marie Henry. circa1940.

Julie Henry, Daughter of Pat and Doris, receiving dance lessons from Jimmy.

The old Williams Valley Grange in the 1930s. It appears a new one is on the horizon.

A 1930s photo judging from the Model As

Because this photo is clearly identified as Mrs. Klawunder it may be safe to say that these two children just may be Mildred Klawunder and her little brother Harold. Although all in this photo are deceaced their offspring are sprinkled around the immeadiate area. We also have a number of photos of the Klawunder family to follow.

Harold Klawunder never missed a Clayton day. He passed away in 2007. His funeral service was conducted by Sue Robinson who is a Minister at Holy family hospital in Spokane WA. and a former co-worker of our editor Wally Parker (retired)

In 1933 Mr. George Klawunder was the owner of a half section located on the South East corner of Williams Valley Rd and Price Rd. Later owned by Norman and Mildred Klawunder Warren. Norm and Mildred had one Son Harold and four daughters. the oldest of which was Evelyn. A search is underway for additional information.

This is the Klawunder family in 1935. We are searching for identification of the family members.

This is Bob Clouse with Evelyn Warren Tilson ? reunited friends from the late 40s at the Deer Park Settlers in 2007.
