This is the 2008 State Wrestling Championship trophy that will stay in the Stags trophy case.

Blake Adams, 112 pound class 2A Washington State champion. Third in 2008. First in 2009.

They started it. The Washington State 2A State Champions 2008 Wrestling Team with coaches and cheer leaders. Thanks to the Deer Park Tribune for contributing this professional photo.

Drew Acorn was the 2008 Washington state 103 pound champion. He became the 119 pound champion in 2009.

Shawn Burton the 285 pound state champion this year, Sixth last year as a freshman. Three falls and one decision to earn the championship.

Sophomore Billy Rhoads weighint 140 pounds is the state champion with 2 years left to compete.

Ethan Grable grappled his way to a third place finish in the 215 lb weight class.

Washington State Champion Brandon Leliefeld at 145 pounds in Class 2A competition. Brandon took third place in 2008.

Aaron Frank drew the short straw in his first match against his team mate Cody Miller, two time Washington State Champion in the 152 pound division.

Kyle Whitney at 171 pounds had dfficult matchups either winning by a fall or loosing by one. He lost one match by a score of 5-4 and won seventh place by scoring a fall. Kyle is a senior this year.
